Four full time dispatchers staff the North Manchester Public Safety Dispatch Department, working eight-hour shifts. The Department also employs two part time dispatchers who work on an as-needed basis. The Dispatch Center is responsible for dispatching Police, Fire and EMS calls. The Center has the capability of two dispatchers working simultaneously, answering emergency calls and dispatching emergency personnel. The Center is equipped with NCIC/IDACS capabilities, providing important information promptly to police officers. Linda Kissinger is the supervisor of the Dispatch Center. Randi Tobias is the NCIC/IDACS Coordinator/Trainer for the Department. The Center also acts as the clerical and reception area for the Public Safety Complex.
